CARE TIPS

  • Many of us do not pay attention to the instructions that are placed on clothing labels. This will also indicate if the item should be washed in colder or warmer temperatures.

For example, wool should only be washed when it is absolutely necessary. You should also use a specific wool detergent on a gentle cycle or by handwash.

  • Wash your clothes inside out

This avoids friction, snagging, pilling and fading of the garments to make them last longer. You can also put your delicate items in a mesh laundry bag.

  • Wash in warm or cool water to prevent shrinking and fading. Use hot water carefully, as washing cotton in hot water can cause it to shrink.
  • Owing to the delicate blends of cotton and silk yarns, Kota Doria should be hand-washed only with mild detergent.
  • Wash Care for Organza
  1. Hand-wash: Organza dresses should be hand-washed in cold water.
  2. Mild Detergent: Use a mild detergent to wash the dress
  3. Soak: Soak the saree in cold water with a mild detergent for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Rinse: After soaking, rinse the saree thoroughly in cold water until all the soap is removed.
  • Silk georgette is a fine, light fabric woven with intertwined threads, meaning it has good breathability and elasticity. To maintain this fabric over time, we recommend gentle machine washing at 30° and do not tumble dry. Do not bleach and if ironing, use a low temperature to avoid damage.
